I think this is a great product for writing down lots of information and keeping track of material. Despite me not knowing at first that this board was not made for writing on, I soon discover that some residues of things I write on will stay on when you erase the board. However though I quickly got used to this because its more of a minor thing that I can deal with. If you are going to buy this product for the purpose of using it as a whiteboard, just be prepared to see some residue left behind when you erase what you wrote down on it. Other than that though, very great board!4
